Here at PS 220 the Edward Mandel School we strive to build a safe, respectful and nurturing environment focused on maximizing each child's sense of well- being and life learning skills. We prepare all students to become active producers and consumers to empower critical thinking in a technologically advanced world by providing culturally responsive teaching that reflects the identities of our diverse community. As a community we understand that caregivers, faculty and students are all responsible for fostering their social emotional learning, academic development and digital skills. Collectively, we enable our children to become productive members of the community, adapt to change and become tomorrow's leaders.
